About us

DepoLink d.o.o. was established in 2017 with the main purpose of providing empty container owners with additional container storage capacity as close as possible to the Port of Koper. To this end, we have leased more than 30,000 m2 of land on a long-term basis in an excellent location, in close proximity to the Port of Koper. This excellent location and long-term arrangement provides DepoLink with business stability, and allows for adequate investment for future development.

Our facilities, technology and people meet the highest standards in our industry, with many years of experience in all empty container services. Our skilled staff undergo regular training as appropriate, enabling them to stay up to date with the latest standards.

Present

Depolink is now a company with terminals and operations on various locations in Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia. In all three countries there are in total 39 employees. To our clients we can offer all services that a modern terminal nowadays suppose to. We can offer storage and handling of empty and full container and if needed also weighing for VGM requirement. Additionally we can offer repair and cleaning of empty containers and for refrigerated containers inspection and preparation. To interested clients we can also sell used containers. Beside services related to container manipulations we can offer also storage and handling of palletized good and transport from DepoLink to Luka Koper or vice versa.

Future

At DepoLink, we are working to increase the terminal's capacity by acquiring additional land to keep up with the growing demand for container traffic through the Port of Koper for domestic (SLO) and neighbouring Central and Eastern European countries.

DepoLink's long-term strategy and vision is to become the leading depot operator in the region by developing additional sites, connected by its own means of transport, with the same service standards. This allows its customers to have a single point of entry while having a wider regional coverage.

Investment in port access and inland transport remains essential for the further development of the global economy and DR Depots remains active in Europe, pursuing relevant projects and partnerships.

As a result of the rapid growth in traffic and the increasing demand for our services, in 2021 we purchased additional land in the immediate vicinity of the existing terminal, where we plan to build a new, modern and larger terminal for the handling and storage of containers and other commodity groups. The construction of the terminal will take place in 2023 and the opening is scheduled for early 2024. In addition to the core business of container handling, a modern warehouse for the handling and storage of perishable commodities will also be built on the 40,000 m2 of land.
